Advocate was born from a simple but powerful idea: families navigating healthcare shouldn't have to do it alone, and they shouldn't have to struggle to stay coordinated and connected.

The last thing families need is the added stress of miscommunication, missed updates, or fragmented care information scattered across text messages, phone calls, and hastily written notes.

We built Advocate to bridge that gap—to give families a single, secure place to coordinate care, share updates, and ensure everyone stays informed.

The Story Behind Advocate

Advocate was created by GenomOncology LLC, a precision oncology company based in Cleveland, Ohio. For over a decade, GenomOncology has been at the forefront of using data and technology to improve cancer care.

Through our work with cancer patients and healthcare providers, we witnessed firsthand the challenges families face when coordinating care. We saw:

• Family members flying in from across the country, desperate for updates
• Primary caregivers overwhelmed with questions from well-meaning relatives

• Patients' wishes and observations going undocumented
